Fundraising Idea

A great fundriasing idea from Scott Smith, Team Recruitment Chair:

Here is a great idea that our team is using in our workplace. We took an empty 5 gallon water bottle ( for those neat water coolers) and put it at the reception desk. A sign that says" You can "Change" a Life" was put on it. People are dropping change in and it is beginning to add up. Little things - they will add up!!

Team Captain Meeting

We're getting close to Relay, so it's important to be there and get all the last minuet details. 

This will be our last TC meeting before Relay, and will be held at the Fairgrounds Grandstand. 

Silent Auction Item alert

The Duke out Cancer team has a GREAT silent auction item.  They will be auctioning two basketballs:


One signed by Coach Krzyzewski of Duke University basketball and one signed by Coach Calipari of Kentucky University basketball.  They have included them in a website called www.charityauctionorganizer.com and will be taking bids starting now until the night of the Relay.
