Raffle Baskets: Cox HealthPlans
Cox HealthPlans is a proud sponsor of the American Cancer Society. We are joining with the Springfield Relay For Life to help support those in the community we serve. In an effort to help raise money for the cause, the employees of CHP have put together some very attractive “Theme Baskets” to be raffled off. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5, 12 for $10, or 25 for $20. A great fundriasing idea from Scott Smith, Team Recruitment Chair:
Here is a great idea that our team is using in our workplace. We took an empty 5 gallon water bottle ( for those neat water coolers) and put it at the reception desk. A sign that says" You can "Change" a Life" was put on it. People are dropping change in and it is beginning to add up. Little things - they will add up!!

The Duke out Cancer team has a GREAT silent auction item. They will be auctioning two basketballs:

ACS GARAGE SALE
The ACS will be hosting a garage sale at the Springfield office at 3322 S. Campbell on Saturday, May 19th from 7:00 am to noon. Any team that wants to can participate and donate their earnings back to the ACS. Just call the office at 447-1471 to RSVP to make sure they have a space available for you.

Angels of Hope will be having a family dance at the Marshfield Community Center, located at 110 Commercial St, Marshfield, Missouri

They will also be giving out prizes and have an ice cream eating contest! Cost is $3 to enter. Contestants will be given 2 scoops of ice cream to eat with no hands or spoons! Team OTC & Friends will be hosting a garage sale on Friday, May 11th, and Saturday, May 12th. The sale will be held rain or shine at 2724 E. Grand St. in Springfield (one mile east of Glenstone) and will run from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm both days. There will be no sales before 8:00 am! They have:
